Sharing what I know to help others to grow . . .
Have you heard the buzz about my Tool Vault?
During the ten years that I have been mentoring new authors and journalists to get writing and get published I have created simply heaps of tools to help them. Anyone who works with me, even if only for 30 minutes, has access to my Tool Vault and can take their pick from the following materials absolutely free of charge:
1. Pipedream to Proposal
An 18 page document for you to complete that will show you whether you really have thought of everything before you start working on your book. Things like who will write your foreword and how you hope to bring your book to market.
2. 50 Steps to a Book in Your Hand
I used to give this away free on my website, but now it’s reserved for clients only. A document that lists the steps you need to take to take your idea right from the brainwave stage to the day it is on sale in the biggest bookstore in the world – Amazon.
3. 50 Ways to Boost Your Booksales
50 tried and tested ideas that will help anyone with a book to sell more copies.
4. Blank book and cover skeletons
It can be really tough knowing what to put where in your book and on your cover. These two, specially designed documents, made by CreationBooth, will explain all!
5. How to write a book review
One of the best ways to drive people to your book is to ask others to write book reviews – for websites, for online bookstores, for newsletters, magazines and for blogs. This document explains how to write one effectively. When your book is out, you can give a copy to your reviewers. Until then you can make friends with the publications and blogs you hope will review your book, by supplying them with book reviews you write about other books.
6. The 8 As for Astounding Authorship
Don’t fall at the first fence. Ensure your book has legs by double-checking that you have incorporated eight elements that all begin with A into your book’s content. This 15 minute vodcast explains all.
But I am not the kind of person who reserves all my materials for paying clients only. Here, as a taster are a selection of freebies you can download right now absolutely free of charge.
1. Take a look through my virtual book
2. A 40 minute interview with me
Listen to my interview with journalist Rebecca Law, when I talked about My Life in Books
