Hi Jo,
"I left a piece of my heart in every place I loved." Lovely words...
I came across this post on Twitter and wanted to stop by to say it resonated with me on many levels. Those times of separation and loss are what inspire much of my current work in progress, a memoir. I love the quote by Rumi...
Look forward to reading Sunshine Soup:)

Thanks guys. The more I help folk to write their books the more I realise that it's the stuff that makes our hearts sing that are hardest to write. Is it because they are considered personal/private/special? My friend and author of The Singing Warrior, Niamh Ni Bhroin, has a super phrase - Keep it Sacred Not Secret. That helps me any way. Keep writing everyone!

I came across Jo, many years ago at a meeting in Connecting Women. The guest presenter at that time was someone who could help people decipher their dreams, as she believed they are messages about our future. Jo stood up and told the audience about a dream she had which in hind site turned out to be an omen about her writing courses. She left a positive impression on me and it was then that I made a subconscious decision to attend one of her writing courses one of these days. Well, finally that day came about few months ago when I did “ How to write your memoirs” with Jo. I enjoyed it immensely and so quickly followed it up with “Definite Articles”. Jo stresses the fact that she will get most of her clients published but for me these courses have had a greater impact. By teaching me how to write and by unleashing the creativity within me, Jo has given me the tools to heal and the skills to hopefully succeed in my business venture, which is not necessarily to be a published writer, but writing will play a significant part in it.
So if you are considering taking one of Jo’s courses, my advice to you is to stop wavering and Just Do It!

I enjoyed ATWOS so much (and wrote about Matt twice already) that I purchased Soapbox. It's on my nightstand begging to go to the head of the queue. Great interview with interesting insights.
