Creating it gave her the confidence to move towards bigger and better things.”

Jo, what an interesting site you have, and yes, Barbara Rogoski had the wisdom to start her publishing journey with a tips booklet after discovering some resources at my site. Tips booklets are amazing business cards, especially when companies and associations buy them in very large quantities to help them sell more of their own product and/or service.

There’s not a whole lot better than someone paying you to market you!! That’s exactly what happens in those situations. The little tips booklet can be very powerful in getting the message out there of someone’s expertise, and being paid handsomely for it. It’s not as easy to sell a million books as it is a million tips booklets

Good posting that made me look in my local book shop window – to find it displaying books “written by” celebrity “airheads, those with fake boobs plus people famous for being a celebrity”. Some interesting books by chefs, with tasty recipes, made up the display. Food for thought indeed!

Last spring, the same week I attended your oh so helpful workshop in Houston, I told a relative who’s connected to publishing that I was interested in writing a book. He told me that no one is publishing anyone but celebrities. It was a short conversation.
Once again you come through with the reality of things AND practical ways to deal with it. I’m grateful.
