eventsMy students and clients often ask me how they can find their real writer’s voice. I tell them that their real voice is honest, authentic and the voice they use when they talk. I also tell them that finding their voice will set them free, minimise writer’s block and make the words flow onto the page.
I believe that it is only when you write from the heart and from your truth that you can hope to produce your best work. Yeah, sure, doing this may make you cringe inwardly. It may make you want to wear dark glasses while you are typing and hide from the world. Sure, it’s tough, sure, it’s exposing. But there is no doubt in my mind that this is crucial.
